Every one of these seems to get more divisive. Not from the content of the speech, but the actions of those in attendance.

The disrespect went to a new level with Pelosi standing up and tearing her copy of the speech in half at the end.

Once again Democrats sat and scowled in response to things like "the lowest black unemployment ever" and "lowest disabled unemployment ever". It was a really bad look for them. All this while we still await the results of their Iowa caucus disaster.

My son, Heath, is a Millennial. He has a large group of friends; all Trump-haters; nothing else matters.

There is hope in the generation after the Millenials. My kids are teenagers and many of their friends are pro Trump. The ones that are far left are always bitter and angry, and that attitude really turns off a lot of their peers.

California isn't a swing state. Doesn't matter how many Trump haters are in California, California is not representative of the swing states at all. If the election was decided by popular vote, then it would matter, but it isn't, so it doesn't.

Projecting the views of Anti-Trump haters in one of the bluest states in the union on the rest of the electorate leads to faulty analysis and that's exactly what the Democrats are doing, thinking their urban cantonments are America, therefore Trump is doomed. This is not the case, Democrats just wish it was.

Is it though? Why do you think that? After New York after Virginia after what Ralph Northam said? That is the position. That what it means to be prochoice right up until the moment of birth. You really thought otherwise? It's like when they all raised their hands on the illegal immigrant healthcare thing everybody remarked on how extraordinary it was but everyone else was telling tou rhey were open borders well there you are they just admitted to it.
