Democrats are in full panic mode. This morning's headlines include rumors of John Kerry running (because it worked so well the last time), to this bag of lies:
Trump Hurts the Economy. Sanders Would Be Worse
https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/artic ... d-be-worse
Trump hurts the economy. Hmmm. Record low unemployment. Record high stock market.
Nativism. Yes, they are trying to make us believe that Trump putting America first is somehow a bad thing for America's economy.
Volatility. Oh yeah, I really hate the volatility of the stock market dropping 100 points one day and then rising 100 points each of the next 10. Yes, there was concern when Trump had a trade war with China. Where are we now? In a better position than before and the market went up.....again.
The rest of the article is a mix of Liberal panic about Sanders and blatant TDS. More garbage coming from "news" outlets.

His corruption. Corruption. The same corruption Democrats have not been able to prove despite it being their only goal since the 2016 election.Sanders would provide welcome relief from Trump’s corruption, nativism and volatility, when it comes to economic stewardship, he’d be worse.

They are realizing that Bernie is very likely to win the nom.
Honestly, he's their best shot at beating Trump. He's a fucking crazy communist, but still.
If he chooses Tulsi as his VP, just keep feeding him fast food until he dies and problem solved.

https://www.mercurynews.com/2020/02/02/ ... anization/He is pulling ahead in the polls, has built an army of volunteers and just became the first non-billionaire 2020 presidential candidate to drop a television ad in California.
With ballots about to hit voters’ mailboxes, Bernie Sanders’ supporters across the Golden State are feeling the surge.
And what timing: The primary season kicks off Monday in Iowa, where Sanders also holds a narrow lead in recent polls. And with California’s Super Tuesday primary on March 3, the Vermont senator appears to be breaking away from Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and former Vice President Joe Biden after being caught in a three-way statistical tie in the state for months.
In what once seemed unthinkable, the 78-year-old democratic socialist who suffered a heart attack on the campaign trail in October has emerged as one of the front-runners for the Democratic nomination and a showdown with President Donald Trump.
"Unthinkable" if all you do is participate in the media narrative as if that is reality. If you just look around and talk to people it was obvious, though I admit I am amazed he is surging after almost dying from a heart attack.
He's not going to back out this time either. He doesn't have to. Biden's black vote is not going to win the whole fucking thing. All Biden has is the black vote and the "Never Bernie" vote, and that's essentially the same dynamic Hillary had.

Re: MHF Democrat Primary Poll
And another thing.. consider how fucking huge the millennial generation is. The economy improved, sure, but for them? Not really. They are deep in student debt, their jobs were offshored, they are paying a fuck ton in taxes to a social security system they believe will be defunct when it is their turn, and the ones without a college education are living dirt poor and can't even afford health insurance. He's going to appeal to them more than Trump.
Boomers are split on Trump. I bet if Bernie supports Israel openly and promises to protect social security he will continue that split. The only thing boomers seem to care about other than their own gibs is Israel, and Bernie is ethnically a Jew, so..

Re: MHF Democrat Primary Poll
Fuck Millenials. Those who don't have a job right now and aren't paying off their debt are doing so because they are waiting for a management position even though they have zero work experience.
I've seen it at our company. The ones with jobs complain about not being in charge. The ones looking for jobs are looking 3 levels above what they are qualified for. Anything less is beneath them. This is a generalization, but it fits for many of them. They don't want to work their way up. To them it's oppression, racism, or sexism that they aren't immediately foisted to the very top of the food chain at work. This is the fault of years of "education" that repeated this. It's the woke commercials on TV telling them this. Anyone who is a white male with any authority at work must be an evil, mustache twirling fat-cat who is also racist and a misogynist and is simply trying to hold them back. Ironically, here is this old, white guy telling them he will solve all their problems.

Re: MHF Democrat Primary Poll
That's a winning platform (not).
This is how, despite Trump's best efforts, his own base could hurt him pretty badly with this constant "fuck your problems" meme.
There is no living generation more fucked over than the millennials. They might be insufferable half the time, but you ignore their legitimate complaints at your political peril.
Student loans are a serious issue when the fundamental contract was violated by offshoring and the importation of indentured servants in the visa programs (as well as nonstop immigration, legal and illegal). Trump has a good angle on that problem with immigration, but Bernie is offering them an immediate solution. The more you say "fuck millennials", the more they say "fuck you too".. and they have more voters, so I am not sure exactly how you think this is going to end, but lol.
edit:
And there's no working to the top for them. They are mostly completely fucked, dude. Boomers are holding out in positions of power until they die. Gen X is in the management positions for the time being. Meanwhile, all costs of living are dramatically up. Rent is sky-high. Housing prices are still exploding. How does the average millennial see this as a decent deal by any metric at all? Even a millennial with a good computer science degree, competing for good software engineering jobs at tech giants, sees his salary drastically limited by corporate ruling class. Somehow, if we want to avoid Bernie's socialism, we have to honestly address this shit. Because it's going to end in socialism if we keep this up.
