Social justice is obviously a noble aim but the backlash from entrenched bigotry and an overzealous pursuit of the original aims by extremists has turned SJW into a derogatory description but it is important not to forget that the original goal is a worthy one and has not yet been fully reached.

No it isn't. If something is right, if something is just it is just that. No modifier needed. If something comes before justice it sure as hell isn't justice. It is simply a marketing term.
