weird that no one is even attacking joe biden anymore, theyre all squabbling amongst themselves
The battle to see who will be the Veep.
Not sure why anyone would want to get on that sinking ship.
To get into the line of succession in the future.
You have to establish your brand at the Executive level, that usually takes more than one cycle.
Biden hitched his wagon to Obama, now Biden is getting his turn.

I suppose, but how did hitching his wagons to Hillary Clinton work out for Tim Kaine? Does being a VP pick for a losing candidate really do much for you?

No, but they are deluded into thinking Biden is going to win, because of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Trump Derangement Syndrome is propping Trump up.
It's blinding, they can't think straight, TDS is crippling them.

If he doesn't then next time around there won't be an incumbent president to vote for, nothing will have changed for the better and the electorate will have swung back to the left. The cycle continues.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

They won't so much swing to left as the GOP will simply be leaderless because the GOP has no line of succession.

Nothing is swinging to the left now that the SCOTUS is 5-4 for the conservatives.
In an era of absolute partisan gridlock, all legislation will be determined by the Judiciary in the end.
The Democrats have already lost the war, for generations to come.

There's always rule by executive order.
Seems to be rather popular these days.

Executive orders are not laws, so easily reversed by the next Executive.
But moreover, even laws are reversible by the next Congress, so those are not secured neither.
This is why it's all about the SCOTUS, only a constitutional ruling will be entrenched.
The name of the game is stare decisis.
