She stopped the Bosnian war, and saved over half a million people with AIDS. She didn't care about fame or fashion, and turned down photo opportunities left and right. The Berlin Wall might still be up had she not intervened. She was quite frankly the most important statesman of the 20th century hands down, and that is not even a controversial statement. It is self-evident.
