As members of the royal family they are not allowed to publicly express an opinion. You can expect a lot of opinions if they do manage to break free.
They are in the process of setting up a charity which is expected to be global, linked to Africa and the US, rather than domestic - and will have a commitment to female empowerment.

They are the most popular royal couple after the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh. This has been a bone of contention between the Cambridges and the Sussexes and the jealousy from Catherine has not helped in the rift between William and Harry.
The main difference between the Hollywood elite and the royal family is the former are allowed to express a political opinion.
Any notion that they will be reliant on handouts from Charles (the current source of their money) seriously underestimates their earning capacity. Any notion that they are going to go into hiding seriously underestimates their resolve to promote their good causes.

I don't think they will feel snubbed. I think they are sympathetic to Harry as they were to his mother when she quit the firm.
Diana wasn't a nobody after she left the royal family. She, in fact, became the people's Princess.
The opposite was actually true. The Queen lost popularity as a result of snubbing Diana when she died. Public opinion forced Her Majesty to abandon tradition, protocol and convention and fly the flag at half-mast for her at Buck' House.
