But I firmly believe there's never been a system like Belichek and Co. - even if they do cut corners from time to time. They're the best analytical and strategic group that's ever managed a game.
You could make that argument before this super bowl, not after. Manning and Montana take a back seat to Brady, just because Brady had a great system doesn't mean that Manning and Montana are better because they didn't play on teams who were as good and well coached for as long. You could make the argument that Manning is the better QB in the regular season, but not of all-time. Montana got passed by Brady a while back, but still has the best track record in the Super Bowl itself of any QB.
