Even when I was in the army with an automatic option AR, I never used it on auto, except to qualify on the range.
There's no need for auto fire with a rifle : single aimed shots or controlled pairs
Repetition is fast enough, you just practice until you can pull the trigger so fast it's more than enough.

If I'm forced into a gunfight with a rifle I'm just going to shoot them in the mouth
Single aimed shots right through the medulla
Dead before they hit the ground

FAL's are overpriced tbh. Just not enough interest. I like the rifle. Pleasing to the eye. Ballistics check out. Great gun but you work with what you got. For me, it's the AR. You can order full autos online lol

Top o' the line AR's run between $1200 and $2000
SA58 Para is $2175
$800 is walking around money, more than worth it.

I can get a full auto AR for about 500 shipped. Not that I care about full auto. It's retarded for the platform. That's why I didn't care about bumpstock-ban.
I am disappointed now. It's clear to me now.
2,000 red flag laws were enacted in Florida alone this past year. The judges approved 97% of them with a rubber stamp and the ones that received a second conference for 99% approval. The overwhelming majority of red flag citations were done by cops.
We are being disarmed by Google

We are being disarmed for speech. You really think it makes a difference who is holding the scotus seat? We are owned by banks.

Red Flags are beyond my control, so I don't worry about it, that will have to be dealt with at the SCOTUS
Full auto AR is pointless, serves no purpose.
Meanwhile SA58 Para is gonna last forever, so the interest level is irrelevant, civvies don't know shit, who knew ?
All you need is the rifle and five magazines, then fill it with .308 Win
.308 Winchester is pretty easy to find last time I checked

They jumped the price up of mosin nagants 3 fold since I bought mine. I think euroblock is finally running out of century old rifles.

I don't worry about price if I want something, it's a value proposition.
If after buying it I don't find the value, I'll just sell it.
I bought a $60,000 car, drove it, loved it, then the insurance bill seemed like a rip off, so I traded it in.
You only live once.

Now I'm gonna buy another car on spec too.
I'm gonna have to pony up $70,000 this time.
It's the American way : just do it
