Re: Trump Impeachment (Public Hearing)
Biden had the power to do so. Obama was cool with it, Joe even said, if you think you can go running to Barack about it, and he'll cave, it ain't happening. Biden wasn't going rogue, he was doing his job, it benefiting him and his family as well does not change the calculus either. Without proof that he went rogue purely to help save his son and himself, you got nothing, just as the Democrats have nothing on Trump. The Conservative wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 9:42 amThat is the problem, it's the way it was delivered that matters. There is plenty of proof, the problem is that it's now being re-investigated... so we won't know the depth of it until it's done.StCapps wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 9:44 amBiden had the power to do so. There is no proof of it, being investigated is not proof of he had no right to request or demand shit as VP.The Conservative wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 10:09 amThere is plenty of proof, the problem is that it's now being re-investigated... so we won't know the depth of it until it's done.StCapps wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 9:44 amBiden had the power to do so. Except it came out of the VP's own mouth, which you are ignoring...StCapps wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 10:31 amThere is no proof of it, being investigated is not proof of he had no right to request or demand shit as VP.The Conservative wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 10:09 amThere is plenty of proof, the problem is that it's now being re-investigated... so we won't know the depth of it until it's done.StCapps wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 9:44 amBiden had the power to do so. It's allowed to come out of Biden's mouth, it's allowed to come out of Trump's mouth. The Conservative wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 11:09 amExcept it came out of the VP's own mouth, which you are ignoring...StCapps wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 10:31 amThere is no proof of it, being investigated is not proof of he had no right to request or demand shit as VP.The Conservative wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 10:09 am

That doesn't matter, it's no coincidence I'm ignoring that, it's irrelevant.

Can you two bitches just agree that it's hypocritical to be trying to impeach Trump over it while completely ignoring that a former Vice President did the same thing while he was in office? That's all the Dems are, hypocrites.

That is sort of my point, if they aren't going to nail Biden to the wall for extortion, they have absolute shit on Trump... for even if it was a Quid Pro Quo, that is expected inside the political circle of negotiations.

Re: Trump Impeachment (Public Hearing)
You're very close to the point, but not quite there. Remember Dan's episode on "Quo Bene"? Biden was carrying out explicit administration policy, which may or may not have benefited his son. Who besides Trump would benefit from investigating Biden?StCapps wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 9:44 amBiden had the power to do so. "Democrats have nothing on Trump." It's pretty clear by now that Trump did everything he is accused of, trying to fabricate a conspiracy of this breadth is ludicrous. So it's just a matter of whether the evidence is substantial enough to go the distance. I'm no legal scholar, I have no idea.
