Re: International sports bar
I mean, if you truly believed this crap you wouldn't keep going on about how Trump is dialled in for a win in next year's election.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I never say it's impossible for Trump to lose, I just say that it's impossible for him to lose against feeble opposition without the economy tanking. If political gods do exist, they realize that is justified confidence as opposed to arrogance.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 4:49 amI mean, if you truly believed this crap you wouldn't keep going on about how Trump is dialled in for a win in next year's election.

There is only one God and the Flying Spaghetti Monster is his name.
All praise his noodley appendages.

When it comes to the outcomes of hockey games, God has simply put The Hockey Gods in charge of that, he doesn't intervene himself, he delegates.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 5:04 amThere is only one God and the Flying Spaghetti Monster is his name.

If the Rugby Gods don't exist, then you cannot anger them, but if they do exist, then you might be able to anger them, and it sure seems like you pissed them off before that World Cup final to me. That was a hardcore smiting if ever there was one.

The players must be disappointed that how well they play doesn't have a bearing on the result.
Must be a real disincentive to train.

Of course how they play matters, the gods tend to reward teams that play well and punish teams who do not. If a team who has the lead slacks off, the gods often smite them for it. If a team is overconfident they often get smited for it. The gods can be fickle and change their mind at the slightest provocation though, best not to give them any reason to turn against you. Fans thinking they are off the hook for any responsibility who start acting like jackasses as a result, that is a thing they often punish.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 5:13 amThe players must be disappointed that how well they play doesn't have a bearing on the result.

England was as overconfident as you were, and the Rugby Gods smited y'all for it. You said blowout, and you got blown out. Tried to warn you, but y'all didn't listen. The better team on paper doesn't always win, especially in a one game winner take all scenario, you should have known better and not acted like it couldn't happen.
Even if they don't exist, acting like a jackass doesn't help your team, so don't act like jackass, it's just bad juju. You'll never fucking learn though, your team can get their ass handed to you in the Rugby World Cup you should have easily won, and you still refuse to reform.

The Springboks outplayed us in the forwards, they had a scrum which was superior and they were better at the lineouts.
A great win for affirmative action.

That tune is even worse than the England scrum was on the day.
Great to see you supporting the affirmative action team though.
