Actually, it was kind of like that.

This one guy from another unit started picking on the medic chick girlfriend of a guy in our unit.

The guy in our unit having attained a pardon in order to join the army.

Because he had done time in the pen for armed robbery.

So the medic chick girlfriend shows up in tears, the guy in the other unit having made her so;

When this guy from the other unit went into the latrine, our guy followed him in, while we guarded the door.

Unfortunately, Chris, the guy who laid the beat down, he died of cancer a year or so ago

That was the last time I got together with all my army buddies at once, for his wake, it was a great party.

I have a picture of Chris here on my wall, all bombed up with belts and a GPMG. He loved the machine gun.
