Um, the actual article said he didn't pull his starters. And if he had, the benchers would have been less likely to score again and put him over the point limit than the starters. Even you should be able to understand this simple concept.
And when they do they still fail. You give them nothing to achieve, nothing to strive for. The soft bigotry of low expectations. If you train losers you get losers. I know socialist dumbasses can't understand these simple concepts.
yes, it's so much better if the benchers never get off the bench and play, and learn the lesson that winners get to be in the game and they'll be on the back bench of life forever. Teach them social Darwinism through sports when they're young and they'll be content with their lot working at Walmart.
Punky doesn't understand how high school works let alone sports. If perennial high school powerhouses are to continue on the underclassmen bench players eventually become starters when they are upperclassmen. The freshman or sophomore starter is a very rare thing. A 4 year benchwarmer on many of these programs just wouldn't exist they would be cut. So you can scream all you want that "real football communism has never been tried." but this guy is still a better football coach than you.

Exactly like I said, being a bencher trains you to "suck it up, your time will come" even when it doesn't and you still works a shit job thinking that you'll make millions someday because some TV preacher said so if you keep sending him money. Though I gotta say the only thing worse than being a loser in high school and ending up a loser like ND would be being a star athlete in school and ending up like that. 'Glory days' indeed. The cult classic deadpan soap spoof Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman explored that with her husband's character.
We are only accustomed to dealing with like twenty online personas at a time so when we only have about ten people some people have to be strawmanned in order to advance our same relative go nowhere nonsense positions. -TheReal_ND

What dressing comes with that word salad? From limp wristed faggot to obscure 70's sitcom references. Your silly pessimism doesnt even comport with reality. Mary Hartman was a failed show that got a shot at success only because of All in the Family. If Norman Lear had started with that, All in the Family never would've got made. Just because High schools dont have piss swim teams you don't have to hate on other sports.
Brewster is literally slamming sports because some people are better than others at them, and he hates on competition that doesn't produce absolute equity among all players.

I'm all for athletics and competition. I'm just not wasting my life watching other people do it and caring deeply whether they win or not, nor for teaching kids compliance with an authoritarian system.

Learning how to be part of a team, totally useless life skill, whatever you do, don't teach kids that.
