Saw that last week. To me the important thing is the asshole coach wouldn't let his benchers get some field time even when he was ridiculously up. No one joins a team to watch his teammates win and never get on the field. It's an early lesson in "winners take all".SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 4:26 pmJust leaving this here.

We are only accustomed to dealing with like twenty online personas at a time so when we only have about ten people some people have to be strawmanned in order to advance our same relative go nowhere nonsense positions. -TheReal_ND

Also a good point. But it depends on how that league ranks teams for the playoffs. In college ball, you only get a shot if you blow out most of your opponents.brewster wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 10:37 amSaw that last week. Lemme understand since as I've said I don't watch. They don't just use win/loss, they want teams that shouldn't even be in that division and show it by blowouts? Unless they're Div 1 already they should be rewarded for winning by being bumped up a division, and the bottom finisher dropped. I'm sure I just committed all sorts of heresy.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 5:56 pmAlso a good point. But it depends on how that league ranks teams for the playoffs. But back to your post, lets remember this is kids, not even college. At least when my kid fenced for a club, even when the asshole coaches had lost interest in him he could still fence in tournaments and not have to sit on the bench, and when my kids ran XCountry everyone ran even though only the top 5 counted. Team sports have a built in class system between starters and benchwarmers, and that's nasty if the coach doesn't rotate the players out.

That’s how it’s supposed to work. Unfortunately, the NCAA devolved into a megacorp, with free labor. Things will be interesting next year.brewster wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 6:18 pmLemme understand since as I've said I don't watch. There you go with that limp wristed faggot stuff. Who said he didnt rotate out his players? And saving your benchwarmers for a situation like that wont help anybody. They still cant fucking score. What good would it do to put benchwarmers in a position where if they succeed they still fail?brewster wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 10:37 amSaw that last week. Dirty dick logic there. Have a mercy rule like that and you think they rank by blowout, while punishing blowouts? You can tell you undercover hack bitches cant and dont make for good league executives. Nope, gotta leave it to me.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 5:56 pmAlso a good point. Um, the actual article said he didn't pull his starters. And if he had, the benchers would have been less likely to score again and put him over the point limit than the starters. Even you should be able to understand this simple concept.clubgop wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2019 5:34 pmThere you go with that limp wristed faggot stuff. Who said he didnt rotate out his players? And when they do they still fail. You give them nothing to achieve, nothing to strive for. The soft bigotry of low expectations. If you train losers you get losers. I know socialist dumbasses can't understand these simple concepts.brewster wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2019 10:03 pmUm, the actual article said he didn't pull his starters.
