I guess they had not yet considered the fact that their pro-corporate mass migration policy gave the cartels a 20+ million strong population of foreign nationals to leverage in order to wage an insurgency campaign against the entirety of CONUS. Realistic assessment: if you want to wage a war against the Mexican cartels, then you first must (1) build a border wall that vastly diminishes the flow of migrant invaders, and (2) deport all the illegals and even the legal migrants who live on any form of welfare. Once you do those things, then sure. Go down there and fight the cartels if you want to. But fucking enlist in your own wars if you advocate for that shit.
