I see. You want to make the same crappy SF by committee that Hollywood already makes. I thought you at least were actually writing words on a page, like a novel or short story.

BTW, you know 99% of what producers actually do? They raise money. They start their careers in the mailroom of a studio or agency, not on set. This is why Hollywood movies are so bad, the people making the creative decisions aren't actually creatives. "Visioneers" and writers are a dime a dozen, bought and sold like commodities. There's often a dozen uncredited writers that have worked on a big Hollywood script.
It was just something to do for fun, I already have money, I said it was just something to pass the time.
Then actually write, rather than pretending to be a movie producer. You don't have tolerance for posers, so why be one?
I wasn't saying it was my job, I just like to come up with movie ideas. Then I do some artwork.

It's just for fun, but because I can draw, I can story board some of my concept art.

It's just arts and crafts for my own entertainment.

I, for one, have been digging this thread. Don't let the haters get you down with their Eeyoring and whining about you not writing a Warhammer 40k novel instead.

Fuck the critics and the depressed donkey they rode in on.
Thank's bro. Feels good man.

Do a comic book then, this is the fucking golden age of comic books. Yours can't be worse than the nonsense that's already out there.
We are only accustomed to dealing with like twenty online personas at a time so when we only have about ten people some people have to be strawmanned in order to advance our same relative go nowhere nonsense positions. -TheReal_ND

I like to just come up with a franchise, then I just play around with it,

I write some, I draw some, just sketching and whatnot.

it's not about making a finished product per se, it's just for fun.

It's something I used to do in the army, when there was nothing do, on the bus off the bus.

We didn't have portable video games, and the only video game we played was Sega Hockey.

There's a lot of dead time, just sitting around waiting to get on a bus.

So you got a walkman. you got a reading book, you got a sketch book, and you got a notebook

That's how you passed the time when there was nothing going on.

That's literally the way it was. Me and my roommate Rob, drinking beer and playing Sega.

Until I met my girlfriend down at the Beckers that is, then I hung out with her all the time. I was smitten.

Poor Rob was lonely. He used to be like a sad puppy when I was going out on a date.

See, from afar, chicks thought Rob was hot, he was a body builder, he was ripped.

Thing was, he was a crazy Cape Bretoner, real life Trailer Park Boy, he was wild, he'd get drunk and do crazy shit.

Then the chicks would run away in fear.

Rob loved Wolverine from Marvel comics.

He has a beautiful perfect tattoo of Wolverine on his arm. I think it's an Art Adams Wolverine.

He was built like Wolverine tho, he wasn't tall, he was a pit bull, and he had the body of a comic book superhero.

Wasn't a great runner tho, he hated cardio, he just wanted to lift.

He could kill a man with his bare hands, easily, in street fights he tore people apart, like a pit bull.
