For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

With the Russian Federation joining the EU Hegenomy, the ESA becomes a very Franco-Russian space program.

The Russians however are the dominant European spacefarers.

Cosmonauts.

It's a giant android AI, with a crew compartment interface to take a pilot/commander

Can operate autonomous, or in concert with, or solely by the pilot commander.

Roughly the size of a Gundam. 60 ft tall,

It has a female voice like a fighter plane. The AI's are like Bitchin' Betty, Hanoi Hannah, Scarlet O'Hara, etc

The Exoship also has a radio callsign Fighting Cock, Bocks Car, Marse Robert. Mekong Delta etc

What?
Powerloader.
I'm imagining an advanced fighting version of this but more high tech.

Exoskeletons of all sorts are in play, but an Exoship is like a Gundam.

Wearable Warship.

The way you fight the ship is like the F-35, you're strapped into a g-seat and you're experiencing everything in VR

So in this mode it's like you are the ship, and the AI is inside your head with you, and you have super senses

But you can also drop down to a compartment below which is the airlock, while the AI fights the ship.

And you can dismount though the airlock and space walk, with the AI carrying on as your giant sidekick.

They're not HAL 9000 smart, but they're very smart in terms of they are like soldiers.
