Well the republicans are the OC really, PIRA and INLA and RIRA all sort of morphed into the drug trade and they pretty much dominate the scene. They had the organization, they had the guns, they control the streets.Hastur wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 12:46 amThe truck was registered two years ago in Varna in Bulgaria. That town is known for its connections with Irish republican gangs.

Good Lord. That would be rather shocking.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 4:54 amI woke up next to a body one time. She had choked on her vomit during the night. What if he was holding an ax when he feinted, Monty?Montegriffo wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 3:34 amDriver should have driven to the nearest lake and dumped the bodies. I read one report which said he feinted when he discovered them. He knew he was in the shit. An innocent man wouldn't have feinted.
Was the last time I had a one night stand though.
I've dealt with dead bodies, but never ones I was intimately acquainted with.
It's not hard to remain detached in a professional setting, but sleeping with the dead is another story.

One of the most gruesome corpses I've had to deal with was not even on operations but on leave.
Out in Skye in Scotland, some Jock had fallen in the night and broke his neck.
The blood had been stopped up by the break, so his throat was swollen like a bullfrog, his face was all distorted.
It was me and my buddy from the regiment and a civilian.
I just looked at my mate and said "poor bugger, guess we'd better fetch the constable"
But the civilian guy did start freaking out and hyperventilating and whatnot, panic attack.
We had render first aid to him, he went into shock.

Thanks mate. It was such a shame, she was only 18 and about to start college. I was in my early 20s.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 6:28 amSorry, man.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 4:54 amI woke up next to a body one time. Turned out she had taken sleeping pills before we met up and then we'd spent the afternoon drinking.
I had to go to the inquest and give evidence. The coroner was really brutal towards her parents, blamed them for her going off the rails. I thought that was out of order, they had just lost their little girl and he laid a guilt trip on top of that.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

That's horrible. Like I say, I have no problem being professionally detached for war, but that would scar me.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 10:13 amThanks mate. Can't be compartmentalized about young girls you are sleeping with

Maybe the coroner was sick of cleaning up after shitty parents mistakes. If I feel bad for anyone it's that guy.

I'm addicted to liquor and tobacky, so I don't get up on my high horse about other addicts.

She left home at 16 to live with her dodgy boyfriend. She'd recently left him and was getting her shit together.TheReal_ND wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 10:23 amMaybe the coroner was sick of cleaning up after shitty parents mistakes. If I feel bad for anyone it's that guy.
The dodgy boyfriend turned up on my doorstep a couple of weeks later wanting to quiz me about what had happened.
If anyone was to blame it was him for getting her into shitty drugs like sleeping pills.

There's lots of blame to go around when 16 yo females are boozing and giving it up on the first date. Why was she under the impression that's acceptable behavior? Why does she value her womanhood so little?
