It's so super easy to "win" if you dismiss all witnesses as biased and declare what experts say is clearly criminal to be not so. Even the more honest Fox commentators disagree, as did the WH staffers appalled at the moment of the conversation. Time will tell...

"The walls are closing in"... And have been for 3 years now. Of course the room in 10miles square, and the walls are "closing in" at maybe an inch a day, so it'll be years before the room even gets noticably small...

not that the ukraine scandal should be dismissed outright, i support any and all investigations into the most powerful man in the world, but at a certain point you have to question the motives of the corporate press in constantly elevating these end of the world scandals only to have the floor give out again and again

Uh Huh. Even Steve Bannon on his new show says it's time to stop the talking point campaign of denial and get real about the coming impeachment.
Stop calling the inquiry a “witch hunt” and a “deep state” conspiracy, they said by way of guidance to the president and his advisers, because it’s deluding too many Trump supporters into a sense of complacency.

Stop insisting that polls showing majority public support for the impeachment inquiry are “fake news” — because they aren’t.

Stop dismissing everyone who testifies about the Trump administration’s dealings with Ukraine as a radical unelected bureaucrat.

And stop letting Rudolph W. Giuliani, Mr. Trump’s personal lawyer, go on Laura Ingraham’s and Sean Hannity’s prime time Fox News programs to defend the president.

Remember when people discussed something other than their pathological Trump Derangement Syndrome?

Fuck it's boring.

I'm a Republican and I don't even pay much attention to Trump, call me when it's election time.

Have us come on fox news so we can defend the President!

Punky and the Democrats are such cowards they won't even let their BS go public. They can't have public hearings, and they won't have a vote to hold an official inquiry. These pussies sure as hell aint ever going to take an official impeachment vote. This is to satiate the far left and once the primary season is over and it is on the general all this impeachment shit will be swept under the rug, as "we need to let democracy decide this." As if they are all noble and shit, when in fact they are cowards that enjoy being cucked and long swims in another man's piss.

Democracy is simply a peaceful transfer of power.

That's not actually how America was founded nor how the Union was preserved.

I no longer favor it in this case.

I would prefer to settle these differences with the left by force of arms.

Which is as American as apple pie and baseball.

Baseball actually becoming the national pastime in the Civil War.

America was founded as a democracy of landed warriors. Non-warriors did not vote. The only way a democracy works is when the warriors who have to pay for their votes, by purse and by blood, are the only ones who get a vote.

If Smitty and his wife decide to take me out to dinner, and I don't have any money, but Smitty says they will pick the tab up for me, I shouldn't get to decide where we eat. The food is paid for by Smitty's pension earned through sacrifice and his wife's income earned through hard work. I didn't contribute a damned thing to it. When the number of people start adding up at the table who don't pay, Smitty goes bankrupt.

The left's idea of universal democracy is that a person somehow has a natural right to a vote simply because they are affected by the outcome. Fucking no. That is obviously wrong and I am tired of people stating it like a self-evident fact. Nobody lives life like that when it is them paying for the meal..

You should go listen to Napolitano explain to the morons on Fox & Friends that the inquiry is proceeding along the rules that the GOP set down when they owned the house in 2015. The current hearings are the equivalent of a Grand Jury, closed, but there are plenty of Republicans there despite the whining of those who aren't on the committees. You'll have your public inquiry in the actual impeachment hearing.
