TC wants the benefits of living in a high tax state, good jobs..., without paying for them.

Here's the fundamental difference - taxes does not equal "good jobs". Nearly all government jobs do not produce, and therefore are a net drag on the economy.....

I'm still trying to figure out what "services" CT (State) provides me....they don't fund my schools anymore, they don't pay for police, fire or roads....My job is outside CT...so I do not benefit from Hartford....What exactly does the state government do other than transfer wealth from me to someone not me?

You want to slow down the offshoring of jobs and even bring some back? Lower your fucking tax rate if you're a high tax jurisdiction.

Indeed. But if you want better bullshit and better jails, lowering tax rates helps with that too. High tax rates are bad for the economy, and bad for public service funding as well as they cause wealth to flee to avoid the onerous taxes, they are bad for everything.

Wont be fixed.

Have to make your own solutions.

Adjust to the market.

Lower your own taxes by shifting from income to capital.

I know, I'm simply pointing out that by even by industrial age metrics, high taxes are a bad idea. Never claimed it's going to fix the problem, I just said it won't exacerbate it while they adapt.

Driving the industries away that unions pre-dominate in is good for unions? No it isn't. Having less funds because of overly high tax rates is good for the public services lefties love so much? No it isn't.
