Here's the fundamental difference - taxes does not equal "good jobs". Nearly all government jobs do not produce, and therefore are a net drag on the economy.....

I'm still trying to figure out what "services" CT (State) provides me....they don't fund my schools anymore, they don't pay for police, fire or roads....My job is outside CT...so I do not benefit from Hartford....What exactly does the state government do other than transfer wealth from me to someone not me?

I know, I'm simply pointing out that by even by industrial age metrics, high taxes are a bad idea. Never claimed it's going to fix the problem, I just said it won't exacerbate it while they adapt.
