That is their Ranger/SEAL formation.

That's not what you're joining on day one,

There are three non parachute Foreign Infantry Regiments, they are conventional infantry, elite, but not SOF.

The MARSOC app is actually a pretty good training plan for endurance athletes. That's why I recommended it. It just has a solid progression and plan to get you up to speed in about six months or so.
