For us, this all started when BHO jumped on Syrian regime change during the Arab Spring.
We followed it up with HRC's state department, with full knowledge of John McCain and the Gang of 8 crafting a plan with France and the UK to take out Libya. Then ship Libyan weapons to Syria. Supplying arms to folks that became ISIS.

Fuck that shit. Highly illegal for the US. As far as I'm concerned Trump satisfied any American honor by going and killing ISIS and GTFO.

It's a fucked situation for a lot of people. From what I've read is the Trump admin has been looking for any ally to pick up the lead on this and only Turkey has stepped up. France, UK and Germany all wanted the allies to stay in there, but no one else would take the ball...………… so Turkey it is.

You do realize who Turkey wants to attack in Syria, right? And that it's not at the urging of the US president? Because I doubt the US has urged a NATO ally to attack what had been the most well-known anti-ISIS group since when ISIS started its terrorist activities.

Yep. Trump used his sworn authority. If Congress doesn't like it, they should declare war. I didn't like Obama destroying Libya, but I had to live with that too.

Realpolitik was that it was coming apart anyways, the attempt by the British & French to choose a winner hasn't really altered the course of history. What is happening now; Egypt's problem, was likely going to be the end state anyways.
