Yemeni Houthis rout Saudi Troops
Houthis wiped out 3 Saudi Brigades. Killed 500, captured thousands, destroyed vehicles and equipment, captured more.

No wonder they are afraid of Iran, the Iranians would mop the floor with them.

Too much free money for too long. No work ethic. Can't build an Army with that.
Kuwaiti's are even worse.
It's a big victory for the Houthi's. When's the last time in world history there were 500 KIA in a single engagement ? Fallujah ? This had to shake the Saudi's.

The most recent I can think which is close is when CENTCOM lit up the Russian Wagner Group in SyriaC-Mag wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 4:11 pmToo much free money for too long. No work ethic. Can't build an Army with that.

That was only 300 KIA tho. America wasted 300 Rooskies and Putin didn't do a thing about it.

Smells like Dien Bien Phu. Time to try to hand it over to someone else. Who could the Saudis try to entangle?C-Mag wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 4:11 pmToo much free money for too long. No work ethic. Can't build an Army with that.

If only there was someone willing to drag the US into a new pointless war for personal gain. Someone who appreciates the art of quid pro quo.

Saudis will start recruiting American veterans for infantry if they have to. They already pay old F-15 maintainers bank to keep those birds operational.
Saudis are not really fighters. They buy solutions. I am sure they could buy some decent troops and pay them for years and years to break shit in Yemen.

Sucking Saudi dick is a proper framework for the articles of impeachment. Same basic framework that has been in play for 30+ (40+ ?) years.
There are maybe what, 10, Congressmen who would vote for that?

Sure. War Powers and all that. But it doesn't extend to being arms suppliers. And we're really good arms merchants.
Is using drones a violation of the War Powers Act ? I dunno know.

I don't think so. This is all about MBS.
He doesn't hand anything over to anybody, nor could he stand the humiliation.
He will just keep doubling down and sending more troops in there, since he can.
In Vietnam terms, he's Ngo Dinh Diem
