IMHNSO the argument is stupid because it's coming from two different bases. Arguing that a Monarchy who bars it's subjects from possessing weapons is the ultimate gun control. VS Arguing that among Constitutional Republics, the US created Gun Control.

They are two different arguments. Frankly, what's worse. The Monarchy that promises no liberties or the Constitutional Republic that codifies liberties and takes them away piece meal ?

There's nothing inherently wrong with gun control, it's as American as apple pie and baseball.

It's just not possible in Canada. Canada is a confederation which is entirely run by Ottawa, there's no escape.
