Which is why they've gone back to trucking out Hillary Ignatieff and Joe Dion. Donald Harper will smash with ease.

I am not talking about the Senate. WTF are you going on about? I said I doubt it goes anywhere in the Senate.clubgop wrote: ↑Thu Sep 26, 2019 4:07 pmYou are delusional you need 67 votes in the Senate that's gonna require 20+ GOP turncoats. Not going to happen.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Thu Sep 26, 2019 3:49 pmEnough of them very well could. You are being delusional. The Dems are committing political suicide, but you over-estimate them and think that because they think it's a good idea, it must actually be a good idea, you actually trust Dems strategic political judgement, because you're actually a closet leftist who thinks that bullshit actually works and isn't clearly counter-productive to their stated cause. The Dems are not competent, stop pretending they are.

Is that what is happening? Is the PM not going to take the stage for debates?

If it's going nowhere in the Senate, and American are against impeachment, then how does pushing for impeachment help the Democrats or the few Never Trumpers that there are? Answer: It doesn't.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Thu Sep 26, 2019 4:39 pmI am not talking about the Senate. WTF are you going on about? It's very likely to get through the House. Fucking hugely doubtful it goes anywhere in the Senate.

Then what does that matter? Even for the House it wont happen. A bunch of retirees might but other than that Republicans are raising a lot of money voting to impeach your presidential candidate on some random "what slavic country is too blame now?" shit is a good way to not see any of that money and lose reelection.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Thu Sep 26, 2019 4:39 pmI am not talking about the Senate. Re: THE ERA OF TRUMP
It might get through the House, but I doubt it, that's how pointless the whole exercise is. The Democrats would be better off not even trying, but they cannot help themselves. All they are doing is rallying Trump's base and alienating swing voters, almost everyone who wants Trump impeached was already going to vote Democrat anyway, for every vote they gain they are probably losing two or more, it's just really stupid.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Thu Sep 26, 2019 4:45 pmDon't pretend like I didn't already discuss this, you lying little cunt. Oh he'll show up for a couple of them, but he's in defensive mode, rallying the base, so debating doesn't do much for him.

The fuck if I know what it matters. I just stated the obvious truth to a little Canadian dipshit who thought it all but impossible for the House to vote to impeach.clubgop wrote: ↑Thu Sep 26, 2019 4:45 pmThen what does that matter? I am more interested in what the ever fuck the democrats are trying to cover up with this smokescreen and what their end game here is, knowing that they all damned well know they can't succeed with an actual removal from office.
Seems to me they get a few benefits: they potentially get Biden the fuck out of the race so they can boost Warren over Sanders; they potentially tie up Congress with impeachment dog and pony shows to hopefully stave off a SCOTUS appointment (though I am not sure how they can tie up the Senate); they drive up their base to boost their candidate in the general election campaign next year.
Bad news: if they actually pull the trigger on this shit, they lose probably half the swing voters, and they likely lose the house in 2022. Worth it? I dunno.. unless they are really trying to cover up something extremely damaging that connects to whatever CrowdStrike was doing in Ukraine.
