Iran is Saudi Arabia's problem, but Saudi Arabia is not actually an imperative to America anymore.

In fact, America is competing with Saudi Arabia in the oil market, let the Saudis blow themselves up; cha-ching.

There's no ramping up for war right now.

You can track every Carrier Strike Group on the internet.

If there was a war on the horizon, prolly about four of them would be heading to the 5th fleet.

No sign of that. Whatever rhetoric is being propagated, if there is a war coming, nobody has told the Pentagon.

Just checked the fleet tracker, as of 16 September 2019, there is one Carrier Strike Group in the Fifth Fleet.

CVN-72 USS Abraham Lincoln is in the Gulf. There is the USS Boxer with Marines in the Red Sea.

That's it, so they ain't ramping up for anything at this juncture.

There's only four Carriers on stand by right now worldwide.

The Reagan is in Japan.

The Nimitz is in California.

The Eisenhower is in Virginia.

The rest are docked for various reasons, mostly maintenance.

Not a war footing.
