Another thing about Nevada, real estate is dirt cheap; $188,000 USD average house price in Carson City?

Even in Canadian dollars, that's only $259,000, can't buy anything for that here.

Average house price in Ontario is $595,000

It's truly a soul-crushing place to live where you should go if you truly want to lose any semblance of humanity. There are some nice areas way the fuck out the middle of nowhere, but most people who move there gravitate towards places like Reno and Vegas. Fuck that shit with a stick. Seriously.

Nice laws and freedoms. Can't argue with that. But there's a side to that state that is really fucking low and seedy. Hard pass.

Also, you are going to need those loose gun restrictions. Crime rate is fucking insane. Personal safety ratings one of the lowest rankings in the United States.

I like Carson City, the great outdoors at the foot of the Sierra Nevada's, and Lake Tahoe.

Violent crime rate is 22.4, slightly below the 22.7 national average.

Statistically Nevada does not have a notably high violent crime rate, it's comparable to Tennessee and Michigan.

Carson City is not actually significantly more violent than Toronto.

Toronto violent crime per 100,000 is 3.11

Carson City violent crime per 100,000 is 3.4

Carson City is 88.8% white, 2.2% black, and 94% of the residents are American citizens.

Alaska, New Mexico, and Nevada have the highest violent crime rates in the entire United States.

678 violent crimes per 100k people. 3rd highest in the US, just behind Alaska and New Mexico.

Fuck that shit.

Well, Fife is not much safer in Tennessee, which comes right after Nevada at 633

Statistically however, most of the crime in Nevada is in Vegas and North Vegas.

Carson City is whole nother ball game, college town, laid back, low crime, low taxes, low cost of living.

White as the driven snow on the banks of Lake Tahoe.

Tennessee cities are in the black crescent. Any city along the middle of the Southland is going to be violent because of all the black people. I wouldn't want to live in them either.

Ah well, I'm not scared of Carson City, seems real nice, nice town, nice people, with real nice weather too.

I mean, they have "winter", but not by Canadian standards.

High in summer is 89 degrees, not too bad.

Low in winter is 20 degrees which is -6C which is warm for winter here.

266 days of sunshine per year, only 22 inches of snow, 11 inches of rain.

New bungalow, 3 beds, 3 baths, 2 car garage; $360K? That's cheap by Ontario standards.

No state income tax, no state corporate tax, 4.6% sales tax? Wow.
