Do they put olive oil in the deep fat fryers?
Olive oil is a great frying medium, it is a little more forgiving, it's not used in a lot of places due to the cost. The burning point is relatively moderate in comparison to "frying oil" such as vegetable oil.

Olive oil smoking point is: 210°C (410°F) while Vegetable Oil has a smoking point of 182°C (360°F)

If you can afford to use it, it's great to use. Just a word of warning, it has a different taste to it, so things cooked in it will have a different taste than most people would be used to. It tends to be a little "heavier" if that makes any sense?

They use a blend, it is a regional discretion but it is Vegetable oil and a beef fat product... lard or something of the sort, some have said beef tallow.

Coconut oil and peanut oil are the most used.

Olive oil in a deep fat fryer would be nasty as fuck.

Sometimes I feel my talents are wasted here.

Yes, I know it's spelt Oyl...that's the nature of a pun.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Figured you'd be more of a Wimpy fan.

Ironically. Wimpy is a fast-food burger chain in the UK.
Popeye is a spinach-eating sailor.

I understand that... see humor isn't universal. BTW, you said oil, not Oyl. Look at what I quoted originally.

Looks nasty and probably gives you mad cow disease.

Then you put the lettuce and tomato on the wrong side. Is that to try to be original?

Yeah, Americans are shit at puns.
They are considered the height of wit in the UK and places like Australia and New Zealand.
Oh well, as I said, My talents are wasted here...

I have lots of puns about the unemployed but they don't really work.

I bought a dictionary and when I got home I realized all the pages were blank; I have no words for how angry I am.

A friend of mine tried to annoy me with bird puns, but I soon realized that toucan play at that game.

I've just written a song about tortillas - actually, it's more of a rap.
