We've always been a bunch of mongrels just like you too.
We still managed to create a unique cuisine though.
Curry for example. Sure it is influenced by spices from the Empire but there is no such thing as a curry in India.
Balti was invented in Birmingham in the 1980s.
Obviously, I was joking earlier about your cuisine. Creole is uniquely American for example even if heavily influenced by French cuisine.
I'm sure there are plenty of other examples.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Re: Meanwhile in America
Not really. You invented your own spin on it, but it was Italian immigrants who did that, and you didn't invent it.

Incorrect. The first pizza with tomato sauce was made in Naples by Raffaele Esposito. The Conservative wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 8:00 amNo, Pizza with tomato sauce is an American invention.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 7:36 amPizza, hot dogs (on a bun), and hamburgers (on a bun) are all American inventions.

All ridiculous propositions but if you like I'll concede that you invented junk food.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 7:36 amPizza, hot dogs (on a bun), and hamburgers (on a bun) are all American inventions.
