Actually, I think the DNC is done with Biden. They are going to tear him down soon and get him out of the way for Warren.

Tulsi comes back from TDY this week. They better protect Chief Warren or she could get shanked like Harris.

The DNC has appeared to be on Warren's side for a few months now, but that doesn't mean they hate Biden. Nor has their love of Warren turned her into the frontrunner, thus far the media has not moved the needle much in Warren's direction, and it hasn't been the doom of Biden in the slightest.

As you know, my theory is that Biden doesn't have it physically to go the distance. I believe the DNC is starting to see this. In addition Warren is drawing crowds.

Warren has a worse chance at beating Trump than Biden though, as does Sanders. So in the end, unless that changes, Biden is going to win. The DNC is simply hedging their bets, just in case Biden cant go the distance due to health reasons, that doesnt mean he has been written off. The gaffes he has committed thus far have not hurt him much at all, it will take a lot more than what we have seen to this point for them to write him off, especially while he is still the front runner.

Only way Warren or Sanders win the nomination is if they are seen as a challenger more capable of defeating Trump than Biden, they wont win by being seen as the candidate who is the most closely aligned with the values of primary voters, they will win by stealing the mantle of electability, if they can.

I don't they are looking at that strategically. They are corrupt AF, they don't believe in fair and open elections. The Dems feel they can game the election, like they did the mid terms.

Warren has been courting International business and tech giants. The Dems are the party of the International big business and tech overlords. She's in good standing with them.

Biden is in better standing with big business and tech overlords than her. Warren has actually been railing against the tech giants when threats of trust busting and against big business in this primary when it comes to private health care, so unless she steals the mantle of electability, they aint flipping. Dont confuse hedging their bets with dumping Biden completely.

Biden's still got the majority of polls with him way ahead. But he really hasn't shown anything to get excited about.

About your early point that Trump would beat Sanders or Warren worse than Biden, I agree with that completely. Warren has been a hot mess in these debates, and she hasn't had to deal with one attack yet.

Yes well Warren and Sanders havent shown anything to get excited about either. Biden isnt competing against competition that has shown anything to get excited about, so you have to grade on a curve, tunnel visioning on Biden's weaknesses and ignoring his opposition's deficiencies leads to underestimating Biden's chances.

This why those who are writing Biden off already are making that mistake, tunnel vision with regards to the frontrunners weaknesses leads to faulty analysis in a primary with a field this weak.

Nothing excites primary voters like being the best chance of beating the other party's candidate in a presidential election, shared ideology does not excite primary voters to anywhere near the same degree. That's the mistake the Biden Haters are making when they think a bunch of candidates who have gone way too far to the left during the primary campaign are going to excite primary voters more than Creepy Uncle Joe. They think shared views trump electability, but that is simply bad analysis, a misunderstanding of the motivations of primary voters, they are overrating the impact of ideological alignment and underrating the impact of having the best chance to win.

In 2012, most Republicans viewed Ron Paul, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich as the candidate who aligned most with their conservative views, yet Mitt Romney steamrolled a bunch of candidates who were more conservative than him, including the names above, because he was much more electable. In 2012 republican primary, the conservative lane was clogged with multiple candidates splitting the vote and the moderate lane was wide open, just like the like the leftist lane is clogged with multiple candidates splitting the vote and the moderate lane is wide open in 2020.

Biden is likely going to pull a Romney here, and if he doesn't, then it's because he lost the mantle of electability, not because he's doesn't have a vagina, has the wrong skin color or didn't go far enough to the left.
