About 109 counties across the United States have become majority-minority in less than 20 years, new demographic data reveals.

The latest Pew Research Center study finds that between 2000 and 2018, 109 U.S. counties across 22 states have had their non-Hispanic white populations drop below 50 percent, while the Hispanic, Asian, and black American populations have all grown.

Today, there are roughly 293 majority-minority U.S. counties, concentrated mostly along the coasts in states such as California, Florida, Texas, Virginia, North Carolina, Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi.

Pew Research Center analysts project that in the next decade, Fairfax County, Virginia; Pima County, Arizona; Milwaukee County, Wisconsin; and Cobb County, Georgia may all flip from majority white to majority-minority. In each of these counties, the white population is less than 52 percent.

Trump's Electoral College advantage will be even stronger in 2020 than 2016. As usual, claims of Demographic Doomsday have been greatly exaggerated.

He won Michigan and Pennsylvania by margins only in the thousands, genius. Those guys are not coming out to vote again. 2016 was it and then Trump signed a bill to genocide white voters anyway.

Michigan and Pennsylvania like him more today than did on election day 2016. They are going to come out again.

Wisconsin was the tipping point state, and they like him more today than they did in 2020, same with every other rust belt swing state state he won by a small margin, they are further to the right in 2020 than they were in 2016.

Trump's electoral advantage is a strong one, the Democrats are running up their strength when it comes to the popular vote, but those votes will be spread even thinner come 2020 than they were in 2016. The Democrat strategy is not a dominant electoral college strategy, just the opposite, it's inefficient and they are tunnel visioning on trying to have sexier popular vote stats while ignoring what it take to actually win the game.
