Nobody can make any sense of what you typed, TC. How else are we supposed to respond to random words you piece together?

I'll use small words... just 4 U...

Virus goes into nuke plant. causes plant to overload, plant goes boom. Plant causes cascade effect. Russia didn't prepare for an event. Other plants go boom.

U Unzertandz nowz?
I will also try to make this simple to comprehend:

(1) This was not a nuclear power plant. Russia has been testing a nuclear-powered cruise missile that can essentially fly around forever until they decide to target something with it. Testing has not gone well thus far (only one successful test out of at least a dozen, and now a failure with fatalities).

(2) There is no indication whatsoever that this missile exploded because of some kind of virus. I am not even sure where you got that from, but suspect you made it up to deflect from not knowing what you were talking about in an earlier post.

(3) Maybe you can fuck off for a while so people can discuss this who actually understand what is happening?

Shitty way to die - question is, why do the Ruskies want a Nuke powered cruise missile in the age of ICMBs? I was under the impression that while Nuke jet engines work, they're not even close to the power of a scram jet.
The benefits of a cruise missile is that it can be launched without being detected and then fly under the radar. The limit is the range. To do a first strike with them you need to do it from a bunch of subs right up close to the shore.
A nuclear cruise missile has unlimited range.

Imagine just launching a swarm of them to fly around indefinitely if tensions heat up.

Yup. Bad idea to keep them on a holding pattern over Russia though considering their famous quality control. :?

It also depends on how the thrust is happening, make it too noisy and you may as well make something as small as a person with a signature the size of a large truck.

Learn to comprehend... Anyway, you seriously think that Russia is just handing out nuclear reactors for people to do tests on? Are you that fucking daft? To cause a spike to be recognized from space it had to be quite large. The ones that go into satellites are small...and if they detonated they wouldn't cause such a reaction.

dude, what??

Russia was testing their own cruise missile. Rosatom is a Russian state corporation (run by the government). The 9M730 Burevestnik is an experimental cruise missile they were testing that exploded.

They didn't hand over a classified nuclear propulsion missile to third parties. LOL

Seems to me two dozen nuclear cruise missiles that may or may not explode randomly, cruising around the planet, works as a better bargaining tool than cruise missiles that do not randomly explode.

Now you added randomness to the calculus of how to respond to some geopolitical confrontation. It's very American.
