Re: Mass Shooting Thread -
The idea that a knife is some inferior weapon is a really, really bad idea.
For the criminal, it's actually the best weapon. It's quiet. Easily concealed, and you can deploy it before anybody can realistically draw a firearm.
The guns are being used because of the terror effects and just because these mass shootings became the latest fad. At some point it will likely transition to something else like trucks and bombs.

Oh great, another variation of "so what you're saying is".DrYouth wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 12:09 pmAre you saying this wacko wouldn't have killed more people if he had an AR-15?PartyOf5 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 12:02 pmCrazy isn't limited to guns. California stabbing spree leaves 4 dead

Barely any coverage in the news. That's odd. Oh wait, the attacker was Hispanic. Nothing to see here. Move along.
You have to pretty determined to actually kill four people on a stabbing spree.
The Vegas shooter was pretty determined. Determined hasn't got jack to do with this. My point is that mass stabbing by a Hispanic get crickets from the media because is doesn't fit the plot of their movie. It also shows that banning guns won't stop the crazy from killing people.
Your logic seems to be: Guns can kill easier than knives. Ban guns. Once guns are banned and knives become the weapon of choice then you will say ban knives. Knives get banned. Then homemade bombs made with pressure cookers are the weapon of choice. So ban pressure cookers. And so it goes for the Liberal utopia.

Whatever happened with that Vegas shooter, btw? All I know is that he made bumpstocks a thing other than that it has been pretty silent about what actually happened.PartyOf5 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 12:37 pmOh great, another variation of "so what you're saying is".

The mass stabbing spree is not even showing up in my top stories section of Google news aggregator.
It's the last item in US News section. That's it.
