Re: MHF Democrat Primary Poll
StA simply projects his own views and the views of others living in his little bubble on the entire electorate, and this is leading him to some exceptionally stupid political analysis.

Do you know the odds of winning four coin tosses out of four?

Re: MHF Democrat Primary Poll
They weren't coin tosses. Iowa and New Hampshire you might be able to make that argument for, but South Carolina and Nevada were never coin tosses. Bernie doing good in Northern Rural States, where he barely wins on occasion, is not a sign that he's going to be a coin toss in Southern Urban States, be real.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 3:18 pmDo you know the odds of winning four coin tosses out of four?
Your entire "Bernie was jewed out the nomination!" argument lies in projecting the views of Iowa and New Hampshire on every early voting state regardless of population density or demographics, which is asinine. Bernie won in heavily white, northern rural states, and got destroyed everywhere else, those are the facts, and your four coin flip theory does not take those facts into account and assumes every state was New Hampshire.
Clinton cleaned up with minorities, Bernie could only win young white voters in non-swing states, that ain't going to win any Democrat nomination, in any year. Bernie was not a strong candidate, you assuming he was because he played the outsider card is why you are misreading the strength of outsiders in these primaries.

Oh, my bad. I was at the gym. Now that I looked it up, Hillary Clinton won the 2016 primary by winning SIX coin tosses in a row.

For those of you without a college education and the lack of humility to admit you don't understand the significance (capps), the probability of that is 0.5^6 = 0.015625.
I am developing a suspicion that a lot of these delusional statements I have read stem from just too much information, and most of that information is propaganda or lies. This is how 2016 was a surprise to so many. Then you just have morons like Capps, but that clown aside..
My suggestion is that people ought to turn off the television. Just pay attention to society around them and the actual voters. That's all that matters. Each of those people have to pull a lever for a candidate if they vote, and most of them don't vote anyway.
There's just nothing there for Biden right now. I am not saying it's impossible that he wins the nomination, but it's incredibly unlikely. Most likely is a Bernie victory in the primary, but it's still possible for Tulsi to come out ahead if she continues to kill off candidates like she did to Harris.

Re: MHF Democrat Primary Poll
There wasn't even six coin tosses in the entire 2016 Democrat Primary. You're high. Iowa and New Hampshire weren't blowouts, and so he thinks every state was completely up for grabs in 2016 apparently, and these states decided the nominee. It's all bullshit.
Bernie had no chance in any primary state he needed to win to have any shot at the nomination, those are the facts, his biggest win was in Michigan and he barely won that, that was a coin flip. Colorado was his only other win of any significance, he lost every other important state.
Even if you flip the six closest losses Bernie had in 2016 and give them to Bernie instead of Clinton, he'd have been nowhere near winning the nomination. Six extra wins doesn't result in winning, StA is talking out of his ass, and Bernie won a couple of his own coin flips as well.
This revisionist history that Bernie was somehow robbed is comical.

No, he means a literal flipping of coins.StCapps wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 5:06 pmThere wasn't even six coin tosses in the entire 2016 Democrat Primary. You're high. Re: MHF Democrat Primary Poll
A few delegates in Iowa didn't decide who won the nomination, derp. Winning Iowa would not have won Bernie the nomination, what crack are y'all smoking? Ron Paul won the more delegates in Iowa than any other candidate in 2012, did him no good whatsoever, and it wouldn't have done Bernie any good either.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 5:56 pmNo, he means a literal flipping of coins.StCapps wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 5:06 pmThere wasn't even six coin tosses in the entire 2016 Democrat Primary. If you think Iowa coin tosses is what won Hillary Clinton the Democrat Primary in 2016, you honestly need to have your head examined. You don't know shit about politics if that is your theory. That's honestly the lamest excuse for losing a primary I've ever seen, if Bernie wins all six of those coin tosses, it makes zero difference whatsoever, portraying that as a smoking gun that DNC shenanigans cost Bernie the nomination is laughable, get a grip.

You do not understand and, being a fool, you do not listen.
Until now, you have to win Iowa. It might not matter any more, because 2016 broke the system.
It certainly is possible they rig Iowa for Biden but he loses in non-caucus states and somebody else wins.
No matter what, Biden crashes and burns in the black crescent states. I mean.. come in. Get real. If he even gets as far as South Carolina.
People need to turn the tv off. lol

You don't have to win Iowa to win, you just need enough momentum coming out of the first two primaries to win, and Bernie winning New Hampshire while winning more delegates in Iowa is not enough momentum for Bernie to have beaten Clinton, he would have needed to have won both cleanly to even have a chance, and even then, there was no guarantee he would have won.

Harris polling at like 2% amongst blacks now.
