If we are talking old industrial buildings I'd have to go with the art deco era.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Some of them are extremely appealing, like this one. The second not too much.
Power Plants were some of the best examples of Industrial Arch. I don't think any surpass the Kelenfold in Hungary

The second one is actually in Mumbai, as apartment blocks go I thought it was pretty good.

If you want Victorian industrial architecture at its finest look no further than the pump station at Crossness. A building merely for housing a steam-powered pump to empty the sewers of London after the great stink of 1858 when Parliament was nearly abandoned due to the stench from the Thames. Never intended for the public to see it is now a popular tourist attraction.

It's cool, very cool, but far too busy for me.

In my area there are a number of abandoned power sub stations of this exact design. This would do.

Yeah, Victorian decor did verge on tacky.
Still, very pretty as shit pumps go.

The old Conoco station in Shamrock Texas would do as well. I was recently through Shamrock and saw the station first hand, old school cool for sure

Very nice. Especially compared to the dreary mass-produced gas stations of today.

Oh god yes.
That old station is something you want to keep clean and spend time there, these new ones are something you want to just grab what you need and leave.

This one from the 60s recently received protected status as a listed building.
The canopy was designed by American Eliot Noyes and the single column supporting each of the overlapping parasols carries away the rainwater. Once used all over the world this is thought to be the last of its kind in the UK.
Not a patch on your art deco one though.

So, basically what farmers do everywhere before the democrats ban rainwater collection.
