I think there exists a pretty solid chance the military will sit it out at first and, if they get involved at some point at all, it will be to just take over themselves and end the fighting (taking neither side but, rather, their own for the greater good of the country).

This is because I do not see the deep state overtly trying to start a civil war they damned well know they'd lose. They'd rather start WW3 than that. So the civil war will mainly be one waged by civilians against one another. This is already plain to see in examples like those MSNBC lunatics declaring war on Americans who will not embrace Globohomo. You see it on the streets of cities where Antifa is allowed to commit rampant acts of terrorism and even manage to get that woman killed in Charlottesville, only for the democrat city government to prosecute the guy they attacked in the first place.

The deep state will be unable to control this monster they created, and true Americans will eventually fight back, and the retaliation will be brutal.

Bear in mind that the anti-military butthurt on display was a response to my assertion that, after they crossed several perimeters clearly marked with "deadly force authorized" signs, I would embed a torque wrench in their thick skulls before I let them get anywhere near the aircraft for whose security I was charged.

No concept of accountability or responsibility. They think they should have the special right to storm Air Force bases with highly classified aircraft, and if the Air Force follows through with the warnings on the probably dozens of signs these people ignored, then it is because veterans and service members "lost their moral compass".
