This could be good
Democrat Insiders Fear Tulsi Gabbard Will Run Independent Presidential Candidacy in 2020

Here's clue Dems, if you didn't understand from 2016. Quit trying to pre-select winners and losers and give your party members a fair shot.

Her big problem is getting on the list for major polling in the Winter/Spring of '20. I think she has to stay in the Dem party, at least into December with a bunch of debates behind her and growing support.

She appears to be a real fighter. I like that about her. She's taking on the DNC and Google at the same time, standing up for Free Speech for all. If she could read and understand the 2nd Amendment I'd like her a bunch more.

EDIT: Tight everything on her is a plus.

She's being actively suppressed. In the next couple of debates she may break out. They are probably leaving her out of most polls.

She would have to leave the primary election rather early, if she shows up on a democratic primary ballot sore loser laws kick in and she won't be able to appear on the ballot in that state.

All the polls I have seen post debate have included, she broke out, she is not an asterisk anymore, it might be the beginning or it might be the high water mark.

Does Tulsi have a "ceiling"?

Honestly, all she has to do to win the democratic party nomination, as far as I can see, is to make a convincing case that, if the dems want all these social welfare policies like universal health care, then the only way we can realistically pay for that is to shut down the wars of choice and tell the MIC to take a hike. If she can get that point through their brainwashed little heads, then she could potentially win the nomination.

Every other candidate has fuck all explanation for how to pay for this shit. She does but she has not yet made the case explicitly.

If you want universal healthcare, then shut down the wars and maybe mothball about five carrier groups. Problem solved.

Make it concrete too. Show pictures of these carrier groups, point out how they'd all be sunk in a few weeks of a real war with somebody like Russia or China, and then show the costs just to maintain the fucking things could take a huge dent out of universal health care.

"Our healthcare is more important than your carrier groups".

What makes you think Democrats want to stop spending on the military and don't want to have their cake and eat it too? The Anti-War angle is not that popular. How they'll pay for it doesn't matter, that doesn't win elections. Primary voters are not policy wonks.

When they realize what social welfare policies they could buy with that money instead.. it's all over. Dem voters do not care about the military.

This is the biggest weakness of the dem establishment. They promise their voters all this shit, but work for MIC. When the dem voters truly realize that the price tag of the chicken hawk empire is comparable to the price tag for all these ideas they have.. lol. Outsiders will get all the dem votes.

That might not translate to a victory in the general election. That is a different issue.

But the case Tulsi can make to the other voters in the general election is this: You may equally dislike these social welfare policies and the chicken hawk empire, but social welfare policies at least get spent on you, and your sons who enlist are less likely to become disabled or dead so that establishment donors get rich on tax dollars.
