Are not. They're the only institution in this country teaching kids leadership and self reliance instead of leading them by the nose with helicopter and snowplow parenting. My Eagle Scout son is one of the youngest trained, professional glacier & ice climbing guides in the country, at 20 he has people's lives in his hands even younger than if he went to one of the Military Academies. What he learned about leadership, responsibility, and group dynamics in the Scouts simply cannot be taught at home.

My shy, bookish daughter has even gained from BSA, she's now in her 2nd summer as a BSA camp counselor, and has learned to wrangle gangs of rambunctious 11-13 year olds to teach them basics like knots. They even had 2 troops of newly formed female BSA Scouts this summer! These BSA camps run on a shoestring and are powered by teens taking responsibilities rather than sitting in front of a screen or being chauffeured around to their over-scheduled supervised 'activities'. There are just a handful counselors over 21, and not many more over 18.

As usual, you have no idea what you're taking about. Girl Scouts is a failed organization. They completely missed the point of devolving responsibility on the kids and teaching them leadership which was central the BSA from it's founding. They're more a like network of clubs, each one reflecting the adult leadership it has at the moment rather than a set of values like BSA. There's no achievement equivalent to Eagle Scout.

As for pedophelia, again you have no clue what you're talking about. There's NO youth organization in the country with firmer and extensive guidelines about adults and children NEVER being alone. My son had stop tenting with his best friend because he turned 18!

Eventually the Army is going to take the government back. There's no telling when that will be, but all democracies either get whacked or implode and go back to some form of military rule.

A lot of people assume the military will just naturally take their side, which is farcical in my opinion. The Army is the only true source of government and will always take its own side.

If anybody really wants the Army to take the side of the people, then they need to start talking to others about reverting back to a militia with no meaningful standing army that exists unto itself. Which means a lot of lazy, entitled brats are going to have to learn how to fight, which ain't happening..

There's plenty of Flag grade officers that are total deep staters. Over the past 15 years they have done a fantastic job of turning them into progs. These new generals support transgender bullshit and are choosing feminist reforms rather than merit and high standards. Those officers will gladly order troops to collect guns or whatever. However, there is going to be a very large core of the military that will tell them to get fucked or desert and resist tyrannical orders...…………. it would be fucking ugly.

I think the politicians in uniforms would get killed pretty fast.

A coup would come from people like Tommy Franks. Insomuch as they are politicians they could be dangerous, but they would not be the typical Pentagon staff. They'd actually have a command record of note.
