It's not, it's the fact of life. The US is a lifeboat, and the US cannot accept the world into it, just because they want to come in, doesn't mean they have the right too. Too many, and the lifeboat sinks and takes everyone with them.

And? We have millions of kids that need jobs, we don't ignore the next generation coming up just to allow some scruffy nerf herders into this country.

If I was Emperor, I would make it so that anyone with a green card, and visa would not be able to renew it unless they can do a job that a US citizen can't. Not won't... but can't. Just like how immigration used to work, we didn't allow everyone in just because... we allowed them in because we had jobs that needed to be filled, and sometimes we went outside of the country to find people to fill them.

Once we removed quotas, and started to welcome almost every Tom, Dick, Jihad Judy and Socialist Sally in, did we start running into trouble.
