Does Trump's Economy Threaten Amazon?

Post by kybkh »

If Amazon is totally dependent on cheap products so it can squeeze its middle man fee out of the consumer then what does it risk losing if a 10% increase in cost makes driving to the mall worth it?

Amazon, CIA, Washington Post...

Lol nobody is driving to a mall.

Anyway, the suppliers costs would rise across the board. Amazon is always going to have lower costs cheaper than a brick and mortar, because of less overhead. They're just pocketing most of the difference.

Plus those sweet sweet MIC contracts are just getting started.

Yep. This doesn't mean Amazon wouldn't hurt at all, but it shouldn't be threatened.

Trump Economy forcing people off of Food Stamps, presumably into jobs

Food Stamp enrollment now at 10 year low, it took President Trump over 2 years to erase the Obama economy food stamp highs.

Direct comparison in Food Stamp participation, net gain/loss
BHO +7 million
DJT -5 million
