Btw, it was an ambassador not "the country" who described the Trump administration as dysfunctional.
One guy. That makes it even worse. One guy says some shit and you take it as definitive proof.

None of us are treating this as a serious item for discussion because it isn't. You are such an obvious hack and we all see through this charade.

Monty when leaked emails attacking Trump come out: This proves he is incompetent. Pay no attention to what has actually been accomplished during his time as POTUS.

Monty when leaked emails from the DNC or Hillary come out: Someone needs to find out who leaked those emails. It doesn't matter what is in them, we must prove Trump colluded with Russia to get these out.

Hack. Bitch.

Newsflash: The US *and* the UK both suck. You dummies can tu quoque each other until your dicks fall off and it won't make your shitty governments one whit better.

The business going broke in the last couple years is the Trumpenfreude Media

Meanwhile, Breitbart News reported a few days ago that second-quarter numbers show CNN lost 18% of its audience. Fox News and MSNBC were also were down 2% to 6% depending on the time of day.

Add to that the accelerating demise of newspapers in the best economy in 50 years, and supporters of President Donald John Trump have plenty to cheer about.

We are watching Fake News melt away from the tears of liberals who no longer watch the news because they are too depressed by the re-emergence of American Greatness.

However, Sean Hannity draws 15 million listeners to his radio show each week. That is 3.5 million more than the five Sunday talk shows combined.

And the granddaddy of conservative talk radio, Rush Limbaugh, tops Hannity with 15.5 million listeners a week.

Howard Stern averages 1.2 million listeners a week. Maybe dumping on President Trump isn't the best marketing plan in 2019.

A British Ambassador's view of the Trump admin does not mean the reality reflects their perception.
Well.. if the reality we wanted to understand, was the reality of what it's like for foreign diplomats to work with the Trump administration, then one of those diplomats' perception IS reality.

Reality to the diplomats specifically. Not necessarily reality as average folks would view it.

Who cares how "average folks" view anything if A: They weren't there, and/or B, they don't know anything about the topic? Average folks don't do diplomacy at the international level, nor have "average folks" been present at diplomatic talks. If you haven't participated in X, you're not a witness to X, and if you're not a witness to X, nor even have any knowledge of what people actually do in (situation X) you can't say anything worthwhile about X.

It's like if you're cleaning woman with no education beyond elementary school. Now, you may have an opinion about what went on at a meeting between Krustjev and some Soviet party officials in 1953, but if you were neither there nor know anything about Soviet party politics in 1952 or read any source material on the matter... why should anyone care about your opinions?

Or, if you found that too offensively elitist, it's like if some fancy-schmancy academic urbanite tells you that you can't build a house with (material X) or risk it falling apart, because he read that in Cosmopolitan. And then he starts saying you had conversations with his friends about building material X that you never had... and calls you a liar if you dispute his version of your talks. Now... who's the better, more credible witness in that scenario, Carlus.. the fancy academic or yourself?

Bjorn, thanks for pointing out how peoples realities vary. You've proven my point. The diplomat, like everyone else has an asshole and an opinion.

Everything is relative. Everything everyone has ever said and will ever say is just, like, opinion, maaan. No one really experiences anything, and everything I say, is just opinion of someone's opinion which is someone else's opinion. Wooooaaaah..
It's my opinion that you just wrote that, Carlus. Everyone's view of reality is equal, so you can't say that your reality is better than mine! :snooty:

I don't have a high opinion of diplomats based on my first hand experience working with the US State Department and cleaning up their messes.
