One of the problems of elections is getting a candidate that can have appeal across political lines. IMO Tulsi has demonstrated that. In 2020 the Dems also need a candidate that can go against Trump. Tulsi would be hard for Trump to attack. But the Dems are going to toss her aside without a second look for radicals. It's frickin crazy. Tulsi can win back the rust belt and Midwest for the Dems.

Tulsi has a lot of shortcomings, but the Dems could more easily ready Tulsi than sell the radical agenda on display last night.

Last night was establishment night, though. Those people have no intention of delivering any of that radical shit.

Report
“Biden campaign tells me his staff is ‘freaking out’ about his poor performance tonight,” Olivia Nuzzi reported on Twitter. “The source said that internally, field staff says the campaign-organized debate watch parties in early voting states have been ‘awkward’ and that Biden isn’t playing well to those who attended.”

“According to Biden’s staff, he isn’t listening to his debate prep and he’s ‘set in his ways,’ the source close to the campaign tells me,”

Biden was the clear frontrunner going in. Today he's explaining why he's not a racist.

I floated the idea early that Biden may not really want to do this, that he was pushed into by the Dems who know they need to recapture rustbelt and Midwest voters. To date, he's not showing much drive.

Meh. They are socialists in that they want to socialize their financial and market risks, socialize their debts, and then destroy the middle class to pay for welfare for the poor who will vote for their political puppets.

Actual Marxists will eventually line them up and bury them in ditches when the time comes.

The Irish Churro Bobby O'Rourke actually had an idea that I really, really like.

WAR TAX
Beto O’Rourke on Monday called for Congress to enact a “war tax” any time the country goes to war, with the proceeds going to care for veterans of the conflict...….

The tax O’Rourke proposes for each new war would range from $25 for taxpayers with adjusted gross incomes below $30,000 to $1,000 for taxpayers making more than $200,000 a year. The tax would only be levied on households without military members or veterans.

He's way light on the cost estimate, it would probably be $1000 in the low income bracket. But I love this shit. Service Members would be exempt from the Tax.
