I can't shake the feeling that was their plan the whole time. I do think they did her a huge favor by putting her on the first night.

It's a good line for Tulsi, actually one of the better attacks from the Dems on Trump. But it's reminiscent of the Dems charges against Reagan in the 80s. Trump has no gone longer as POTUS without getting us into a new conflict than any president since Carter. Think about that. Every other POTUS has gotten us into some new conflict in their first 2 years.
Note: Reagan and Clinton conflicts were pretty minor.

I don't know how Trump would deal with Tulsi. I think she'd be a very tough opponent.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 9:22 amMy Tulsi Battle Angel can scrap. Please God put her in a debate with Trump.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I see Warren as a dead candidate walking. Trump killed her a long time ago, I can't believe they are still pushing her forward.

Trump would agree with her on every single point related to foreign affairs and the MIC if it came right down to the nut-cut in a face-to-face. It would be beautiful.

That's what I'm thinking. Trump is way stronger with economic and domestic policy stuff, and his record is pretty good, he'd have to stick to that.Fife wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 9:35 amC-Mag wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 9:31 amI don't know how Trump would deal with Tulsi. The MIC DGAF if it was Reagan or Mondale, Bush or Gore, McCain (!) or Obama. Did. Not. GAF. Because they knew that no matter who won, they had a cold-blooded killer or a Manchurian Candidate in the bag. When it comes down to pushing the button, they knew they had a reliable figurehead to do the pushing.C-Mag wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 9:30 amIt's a good line for Tulsi, actually one of the better attacks from the Dems on Trump. They had Trump all set to push the button a week ago, and he, amazingly, said "wait a minute, brief me on the number of people that will die if I push this button." They all shit their britches at that moment I expect. Trump, he of the Jared son-in-law and the despicable cabinet of Pompeo and Bolton, et al, personally said, "no I'm not pushing the button for your boys. Not just yet."
He personally avoided immediate war. I'm happy that he did that in that moment, and I'm also stunned (as I always am) to think about how fucked up our system is where all we need is one suit ready to push a button for the MIC to start up another war at the expense of every single American and untold innocent people around the world. Stunning.

He really cannot agree with her at all. If he did, he'd have to explain why he appointed all these God damned neocons, zionists, and chicken hawks to run his cabinet in the first place.C-Mag wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 9:39 amThat's what I'm thinking.
