The Urban Centers hold all the political power internationally. They would quickly make deals to get economic, food and medical support from international allies.

I also believe UN peacekeepers would be brought in relatively quickly. Especially if the power grid went down as suggested by the video.

These are items just off the top of my head. Also, while the video talks about supply of goods, its really light on logistics of moving goods, skips trucking and truck drivers, rail, etc.

I don't think UN troops would come anywhere near here unless this place is a smoking crater and it's mainly humanitarian assistance dropped from aircraft.

Those big corporate farms feed the cities, mostly. It would definitely hurt, but it would hurt them A LOT fucking more. Just them locking down food processing and distribution centers isn't going to fix the problem on their end. They actually have to transport the food from there to the cities. Imagine having that logistical problem in Iraq or Afghanistan. How do you ship that much cargo on civilian trucks and protect it all?

Also, most of that good farmland across the Midwest is now owned by corporations. One corporation could own enormous assets. There is no way they can support all those farms and defend them in a civil war. The corporate elite also fucked over American farmers in the 70s and 80s, allowing the banks to steal the land, and then gobbling up that land into those huge industrial farms. It's pure urban colonization of the country at the end of the day, and I don't think they would be able to control all that farmland in the middle of territory controlled by the other side.

What's funny about Jonathon Roth's analysis in the above video is he lays out the reasons for an American Civil War. All the contributing factors are due to Lefty policy over the last 40 years. Destruction of the nuclear family, race baiting, massive ethnic immigration, gun control, etc. However when he looks at politicians he says he can see Trump initiating a civil war, but no Democrat politicians.
