Many ancient cultures never made it to the bronze age either.

The Christians were the ones who presented the Heliocentric model. That was Copernicus, a Polish priest.

Meanwhile, in an effort to establish the scientific method, the Pope made Galileo promise he would stop teaching Copernicanism as fact until Tycho Brahe and Johannes Kepler (a huge Protestant) proved it. He got in trouble for breaking that promise.

Then Galileo himself was a devout Catholic. The only non-devout player in that story was Brahe, but he was nominally a Protestant, enjoying the ladies and fine wine.

The entire project was Christians establishing the scientific method. Also, the entire western civilization knew the world was round. Eratosthenes even calculated the circumference in the 200s BC. LMFAO

But don't let actual history get in the way of your bigotry for Christians.

That history is a bit tortured, like the inquisition's victims. But I'm not bigoted against Christians, just the belligerently ignorant, which is nondenominational.

Because the world was such a peaceful place before Christ came along?

No one was specifically targeting Jews the way Christians did. Judea got invaded again and again not because of the Jews but because of the geopolitics of being in the crossroads. Religious intolerance was something perfected by Christians. Before them there were so many mostly polytheistic religions, all a Hegemon like Rome wanted was for you to add their gods to your Pantheon. Jewish tolerance is right there in the Ten Commandments, It doesn't say there are no other gods, only that there's just one for the Jews. But that got them in trouble with the Romans.
