I too am not thrilled with a government agency doing something like that. A simple phone call would do it? Listen, do you want us to respond when those alarms go off, and they will go off, probably by accident or malfunction but you want us to respond right?BjornP wrote: Thu Jun 06, 2019 10:29 pm There's an element of petty naming and shaming to that FB post, a fishing for sympathy. Why should the public even care that one employee of the sheriff's office couldn't pick up a ring?

I do not care about the whining so much as the fact that broadcasting to the community that this particular jewelry store is completely unarmed only increases the odds that somebody robs it, which is the opposite of what police should do.BjornP wrote: Thu Jun 06, 2019 10:29 pm There's an element of petty naming and shaming to that FB post, a fishing for sympathy. The whining we all might as well get used to as millennials increasingly achieve management roles across society. We saw a similar pattern when I was a kid as boomers reached this age.
Boomers and millennials are very similar generations.
Even boomers eventually grew out of it by their forties, so it won't go on forever.

Do not confuse millennial with the current generation Z or whatever the fuck the snowflakes call themselves. Millennials have been out of college for a while now.Speaker to Animals wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2019 6:44 amI do not care about the whining so much as the fact that broadcasting to the community that this particular jewelry store is completely unarmed only increases the odds that somebody robs it, which is the opposite of what police should do.BjornP wrote: Thu Jun 06, 2019 10:29 pm There's an element of petty naming and shaming to that FB post, a fishing for sympathy.
