I used to respond to this with the usual liberal talking points...

I have sobered up a lot since then.

I have some rabidly "woke" liberal friends with a trans daughter/son... who "came out" as trans at about 10yold.

Watching them publicize their kids struggle on social media was one of the most heart wrenching things I've ever had to witness...

It was hard to keep myself from intervening... but I kept reminding myself it wasn't my business and that if they wanted my advice they would ask me for it.

These are crazy times my friends.

I'm willing to lose friends over that

1. he is Canadian, friends may not be on the line but his freedom is.

2. He has a professional license, his livelihood is on the line.

I would take solace in the fact this article was from Canada, but this mentality is spreading everywhere. Good luck to the people with this mindset once they are the minority in a majority Muslim community. Or even any other community that hasn't been so completely neutered and displaced from reality like these people have.
