Can definitely vouch for the rain. I still haven’t tilled my garden, and may have to skip it this year.

No reason to till a garden. Just lay down compost/soil mix in raised beds. Run drip tape through the beds. Buy the irrigation hoses and valves (and the little punch tool to connect everything), and connect all that to a pressure regulator that takes water right out of your spigot.

Fuckin' plant already. At this point you need to hit up a nursery to get seedlings.

Yeah, I probably fucked up plowing my rocky ground. But I did it, and now I'm stuck with it. It's ugly. I'm going to have to build or buy a rock rake now. Oh well, I'm into it now.

If stuck with that, I suspect my.strategy would be completely raised beds for now, and my process would include some block of time each day clearing a single field of rocks. You can focus on growing for now with a longterm goal of building so many rock and weed-free fields by spending 1-2 hours each workday at rocks and weeds mitigation.

My current crops are raised bed or the hügelkultur. Plowing is long term soil improvement for larger crops in the future. I learned from my previous property that not dealing with the soil is a mistake you never outlive. So, I'm trying to do it right this time. My current garden space I'm plowing is 30 X 60. That space is as much a test run as anything.

My plans are plow, disk, remove rocks, add manure, 6-12 inches of straw or hay, more manure. I will repeat this for 2 years to build a fertile soil bed. If that pans out I will continue to expand and improve my soils.

I'm not going into quarantine just yet. This guy definitely supports strong border security, so take his words responsibly and act accordingly. This is not something to joke about.

Can I joke that @TheWall is less than 30% effective at containing sick people?

Quarantines should be required for anybody coming out of a region with an active ebola epidemic. We learned the hard way under the Obama administration that there was more to this virus than they arrogantly assumed and several people got infected when that dumbass started shipping ebola into our country. We were lucky then. Let's not repeat it.

Ebola must be contained. We need to not ship deadly diseases around the world like such arrogant fucking assholes ever again.
