NY and CA pass laws that ban practices in their own states, while actively funding those operations in these southern states they colonized. Then they purchase the goods and services they need (being the primary consumers of such things), while telling themselves they are environmentally friendly.

Get real, dude. You and yours are a fucking environmental catastrophe.

You don't have any connection at all to nature. It's just philosophy for you, but for us it's every day life.

This point right here ^^^ is why the non-urban left hate you too I might add..

I get along just fine with mountain hippies. Good dudes. I don't agree with their social politics, but they know real conservation from the woo woo.

But fail to protect your local environment and blame others for it. Nice and convenient. CA passes air laws that giant corporations hate, doesn't stop them. Appalachia simply doesn't care enough about environmental destruction to bother.

It's interesting how this actually comes around to "free market" vs regulation. Free markets will destroy everything in their path without regulation, Milton Friedman made sure of it. But you fail to protect what's yours and whine "they MADE us do it!!" Multinational corporations and banks are as amoral as sharks, its up to YOU to protect what's yours and decide what happens in your home.

The way to protect any environment is to make it expensive to damage it, but conservative ideology says you can't do that. So you're fucked.

Appalachians try to fight the MTR, genius. It's getting to the point where talking shit like you did here in this forum, but in person, would have gotten you really fucked up in some parts. People are super pissed off and your kind pretending like you are above it and blaming the victims would earn you a beating.

It would be the rural lefties that would deliver it to you too. Think on that.

Bullshit. If you wanted it stopped your states would pass laws against it. They didn't, they voted for the coal jobs. Blankenship was such a hero he wanted to run for office. I've been following this for 3 decades, I used to kayak in WV all the time, and saw the damage.

You really don't understand how colonization works. We fight to end MTR here. I know the people in the activist groups doing it. They are all democrats, you fucking loon. They HATE you because of this.

You and yours exploit the entire planet, destroying the environment in the process, and then you have the nerve to go on the Internet and tell everybody else, especially the people you harmed with your consumption, how to fix it. Listen to yourself. You are arrogant as fuck and you are the fucking cause of all this shit.

Well there's your problem, since your states are dominated by Republicans who love MTR. Way to take no responsibility, "they MADE us do it!"

No kidding. Just look at Chernobyl. If only Russia hadn't been such a free market economy it would have been prevented.
