Re: Game of Thrones - mostly
Millenials need to be miserable and hate on anything successful. TV socialism, "it was the best show on TV for 4 seasons and that's not fair." And now they know they arent going to have it anymore and they just cant grow up, move on, and let things go. I mean look at dirty dick, first stage is denial he wont believe that's it over he cant have the happy, back to normal ending because it's an ending.Hastur wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2019 11:09 pmMeh, it was alright. I can't understand where all the sudden outrage came from. I was pleasantly surprised considering the last two seasons.
The fact that there was no romantic conclusion whatsoever was a big letdown. The two authors must be gay. Even Tolkien managed to give Aragorn a princess in the end. And Sam got his dream girl come to think of it.

Re: Game of Thrones - mostly
Game of Thrones was never the best show on television during any year of it's run, and I'd be shocked if it was the best show on TV this year.
2011 - Breaking Bad
2012 - Breaking Bad
2013 - Breaking Bad
2014 - Fargo
2015 - Fargo
2016 - Horace and Pete
2017 - The Leftovers
2018 - The Americans
I'm sure the worst TV show fanbase ever thinks it was the greatest show ever, are now butthurt it didn't go on forever, and their favorite characters didn't get the exact ending they would have wanted. But fuck them, those idiots deserve to be disappointed, the show was never what they thought it was, they are slower on the uptake than Jon Snow.

Game of Thrones was one of the better shows on TV for the first four seasons of it's run, top five for sure, but only once was it in the top three during that time. The year it was in the top three, it was clearly not the best show on television, not even close, because the final half of Breaking Bad's fifth season, blew all other shows out of the water that year.
