Biden is his own worst enemy, he can piss away this nomination sure, but it's his nomination to piss away, no matter how often StA says "Biden is done naow!".

My take is the Dems are trying to cleanse their primary of 2016 when they clearly had HRC as the nominee before the first vote. So they are doing that with a wide open field. But in truth, Biden is their guy.

They backed Biden because they see him as the best possible chance to beat Trump in the rust belt and with middle class moms and dads. At the same time they are giving red meat to the crazies in their party with candidates like Pocahontas and Klymidia Harris.

Hell in Joes speeches he saying every but MAGA, and he's dancing around that.

They have to force the electorate to cast votes for Gropin' Joe.

Not seeing that in his future..

The Democrat primary electorate will vote for him, unless he finds a new way to alienate them all that hasn't happened yet.

Why would they do that?

They think he will do better against Trump than other Democrats. It's not hard to see why Biden is the frontrunner, unless you have weird theories about 2016 being a re-alignment election that spells doom for all establishment candidates, despite Hillary Clinton easily winning the 2016 Democrat Primary being an obvious refutation of that theory.

2018 was another refutation of that theory as most of the Democrats who won in swing states or swing districts weren't the more far left candidates, it was the more center left candidates. The far left Dems only had success against center left Dems, in deep blue districts, they are not the base, they are a small faction of Democrats that wishes they were the base. Don't let the media spotlight trick you into thinking they are future of the party, there is no good evidence to suggest that is actually the case.

The democrats with TDS will vote for whatever Democrat is chosen in the primary. That will likely be a "safe" candidate in order to gather as many old school democrat and independent votes. Sure the far left will bitch loudly, but they do that already. Their votes are anti-Trump, nothing more. If they get their particular favorite as nominee it's just a bonus for them.

Trump just needs to keep pounding away at the good economic news and how he has not been found guilty of ANYTHING.

Jimmy Dore and crew are pretty funny in that setting, good stuff Hastur.

Biden doesn't have much competition in the Dem field, but he has a lot of competition with shit Joe has said and done. The King of Late Night, Johnny Carson was on to him early.

Is this Bidens 4th attempt at running for POTUS ?
